Terrorists from the Islamic group Daesh are training children in Nigeria so that they can participate in attacks developed in the Iberian Peninsula: Portugal and Spain.
According to ‘Correio da Manhã’ (CM), Daesh filmed groups of minors between the ages of 12 and 18 receiving combat training, in a video that served as a threat to both countries.
In the images, it is possible to see about 30 children and adolescents receiving hand-to-hand and knife fighting training. In the end, some are forced to fire guns to kill in cold blood the group’s prisoners, mainly Nigerian soldiers.
The Islamic group also published an editorial in a weekly, with the promise of reconquering the former Muslim territory, called Al Andaluz, corresponding to almost the entirety of the Iberian Peninsula, the newspaper said.
Daesh decided to bet on child soldiers because they are easier to go unnoticed among groups of migrants who regularly arrive not only on the coast of Spain but also in Portugal.
According to the Islamic group, these children are the “generation of empowerment” and a “time bomb” to be prepared.
