Smartphone manufacturers are increasingly vying for fast charging methods. One of the most powerful examples recently is the Xiaomi 11T Pro, which was launched yesterday on the global market with a 120W charge and now OnePlus may be preparing an even more powerful technology that fills a battery in about 14 minutes.
The possibility was pointed out by reports from inside industry sources who had access to new information. According to them, OnePlus has developed a 150W charging technology that can take a 4,500 mAh battery from 0 to 100% in about 14 minutes in a similar way to OPPO’s SuperVOOC charger.
To give you an idea, the 4,600 mAh battery Xiaomi 12 Pro is capable of going from 0 to 100% in 18 minutes, so the new technology of OnePlus could be a great competitor for that of Xiaomi and a great evolution in relation to that of 80W of the OnePlus 10 Pro, which takes 32 minutes to fill your battery.
In addition, it is worth remembering that realme has already announced the new generation of UltraDart technology, which promises to charge 50% of a battery in just 5 minutes. In this way, 2022 promises to be the year in which these capabilities will be increasingly in evidence in smartphone specification sheets. Which manufacturer do you bet your battery/plugs on?
