Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) was proud to have won the Australian Grand Prix and also for the way he controlled the race.

“It was the first race where we controlled the advantage to the opponent a little bit. Honestly, the car was great. I was fine all weekend and it wouldn’t have been possible without having a good single seater. We were extremely strong during the race. The tires were fine from the first lap. The way we manage the tires has also gone excellently and I am very happy”, said the Monegasque rider.

On Ferrari’s ambitions for this season: “Obviously we are only in the third race, so it is difficult to talk about winning the title, but to be honest we have a very strong and solid car. We have been at the top and I hope it will be possible to continue.”
