The US newspaper “New York Times” reported that the information provided by the US secret services to the Ukrainian military led to the death of several Russian generals near the front line.

The daily, which cited unnamed US intelligence sources, wrote on Wednesday that the information included “determining the location and other details of the mobile headquarters of the Russian army, which moves regularly”.

According to officials, this information, combined with that of the Ukrainians and, in particular, the interception of communications, allowed the latter to carry out artillery attacks against high Russian ranks.

The newspaper indicated that the sources did not want to advance a number.
