Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that the HTS military convoy, which was supposed to enter the “Euphrates Shield” areas, had not yet entered due to the rejection of some members of “National Army” factions and residents of allowing HTS to enter the area.

In accordance with the agreement between HTS and the Third Corps, Hyyat Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) withdrew part of its military forces from Afrin to Idlib.

Meanwhile, Turkish forces have brought in military reinforcements consisting of ten vehicles and troop carriers towards the Turkish base in Kfarjah village in Sharan district of Afrin countryside, over yesterday’s artillery shells that hit the base following the clashes in the area.

This morning, SOHR activists reported that a cautious calm prevailed in Afrin and countryside and in areas held by Turkish-backed factions in the eastern and northern countryside of Aleppo.

Clashes erupted between the Third Corps and HTS on the frontlines of Sharan district of Masha’alah in rural Afrin, north-west of Aleppo,

The clashes caused “Kortak 1” camp near Mashalah village in Afrin countryside to burn. No casualties have been reported.

This comes after Jaiysh Al-Islam and Third Corps rejected the agreement concluded between “Al-Golani” and Abu Yassin, commander of the Third Corps.

Meanwhile, SOHR activists monitored the low pace of clashes after the agreement.

However, in Afrin, schools and most houses and shops in Al-Ashrafieh district in Afrin are closed and empty.

Moreover, Al-Sinaa district also witnessed cases of theft following the withdrawal of Jaiysh Al-Islam and Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyyah from the district.

Shops owned by members of Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyyah and Jaiysh Al-Islam were stolen, while HTS public security forces were deployed on roads in Afrin.
