Max Verstappen won the United States GP, signaling the conquest of the Constructors’ World Championship by Red Bull. The Austrian team did not win this championship since 2013.

This Sunday in Texas, Verstappen beat Hamilton in the closing laps to claim his 13th victory this season. Mercedes’ Englishman finished second, ahead of Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc.

Verstappen, who secured the title revalidation two weeks ago in Japan, took his 13th victory of the season, equaling the record held by Germans Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel. The Dutchman left Britain’s Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) at 5.023 seconds, with Monegasque Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) third at 7.501.

Verstappen also equals the achievements of Sebastian Vettel and Michael Schumacher, who until this Sunday were the only drivers with 13 wins in a season.
